Can men and women be friends? I really need to know the answer to this cause this chick got me messed up. She thinking im messing with this girl but she my friend. I'm so mad. She think just because the girl and I are hanging out that mean we are doing something. She think the girl wants to be with me. She think the girl is plotting something. We don't work together but we see each other throughout the day. We chit chat and laugh about silly stuff but that's it. I see her in passing and we talk when we see each other. I think men and women can be friends. Right?

I think men and women can be friends but it has to be that. People have ulterior motives and try to be sneaky with their moves. Just be real and honest about where you are and want you want. I do think that if men and women can be friends if they are in a relationship as well but I guess it doesn't matter because people will cheat whenever they want.

I agree! People have ulterior motives and they need to be upfront about that stuff. Just be real about what you want and let me decide if I am okay with that.

I think so. I think people gonna do whatever they want. Men and women can friends but you need separators or something like that to keep thing separate.

Men and Women can be friends, we just don't tend to be ONLY friends because why wouldn't you date someone single, that you have good chemistry with and also find physically attractive. We would remain friends, provided there is at least 1 or more factors that disqualify one or both people from being interested in the other. An easy example would be, they are already spoken for. But here's another, if a woman finds her male friend physically attractive and they have great chemistry. She might not want him because he doesn't have the same relationship values as her. Just like, a guy can be friends with a woman if he wants something out of life that she doesn't, like kids etc. There are a million reason why we would choose not to date someone we have good chemistry with and we find physically attractive. All we need is 1 disqualifier that is important enough to us to stop it from happening.

Exactly. That's exactly what I'm saying sort of. I wouldn't be with some of my friends because they can't cook and are messy as f**k but I would smash without thinking about it. But talking about a relationship I would say no.

Yeah, there's another reason. It's perfectly reasonable for folks not to partner or even break up if the other doesn't participate in enough of the domestic roles.

So I don't think men and women can be friends unless they been friends before the relationship and if the people haven't messed with each other. The opposite sex can be friends with both of us but not just the one person. I trust the person im with and I dont think it is being insecure. I look at it as respect.
